Profile: Roxy Paterson

What's your role in the Group? Group Leader

Roxy was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to the UK when she was 14 years old. She did her GCSE’s followed by her A Levels in the city of Reading, and moved to Southampton to start her degree in Human Resource Management. Once she had completed her degree, she felt she was called to teaching, so she applied to do her PGCE.

Roxy first began travelling to Lourdes with HCPT in Easter 2006. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and has never looked back. She loves all the great trips and activities that we do in Lourdes, but most of all, she loves all the singing and dancing! (And all the great food….yummy)

When Roxy began travelling to Lourdes, it was with a London Group (Group 14), but she has since set up the Southampton Group, Group 170. They will be travelling to Lourdes in Easter 2010, and she is very busy doing lots of Group Leader duties.

Besides teaching and preparing for Lourdes, Roxy has many interests. She enjoys reading, catching up with friends, attending concerts and going shopping. Her main aim in life is to enjoy life, and live every moment to its fullest.
