Meet Group 170
	Group 170 was formed in 2008 and travelled for the first time in 2009. In that time we have built up a strong team of helpers and some wonderful supporters who help us to raise money, help us out with the practical aspects of preparing for Lourdes, refer children to us and pray for our safety and good times whilst in Lourdes!
	We have taken 18 children to Lourdes in our first three years and they will always be very dear to us as helping to shape our group for the future. Our group has grown and developed in confidence and expertise, and also continues to grow in number. We have many teachers in our team, which is slightly problematic when Easter falls in term time, and also a growing number of doctors and nurses. We have some younger helpers who are fantastic with the children, and have so much energy it puts the rest of us to shame, as well as some more mature helpers who provide a more calming influence on the group! Most of all, we have become a tight knit group of friends, who really pull together to give the children in our care a fantastic experience of what is often their first holiday abroad and sometimes their first time away from home. We are hugely proud of our whole group, especially the children, and look forward to many more years of growing and developing.
